Vietnam - Japan cooperation is more and more practical, effective

On September 28 afternoon, Chairman of Hanoi People`s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung, hosted a farewell reception for Mr. Hiroshi FUKADA - Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to Vietnam, on the occasion of the Ambassador`s term ending.

At the meeting, the two sides were glad to notice that the friendly relations and cooperation between Vietnam - Japan is a very positive development in various fields. Ambassador Hiroshi FUKADA said that, in recent years, cooperation between the two countries is more and more practical, effective on the fields.

For Hanoi, Japan has implemented many ODA investment project and development of transport infrastructure, urban rail, drainage, environmental treatment, education and training. All achieve the best results. "This may be considered the best period of Japan - Vietnam relations," Ambassador Hiroshi FUKADA delightedly confirmed. At the same time, he sincerely thanked the city government leaders at all levels for creating favorable conditions so that he can complete his duties when he was in office.

Thanks for the nice reviews, City Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung said that Japan is an important partner, is the leading country in supporting ODA for Vietnam, including Hanoi. It has direct funds for infrastructure development, urban transport, environmental treatment and so on, it practically meets the needs of socio-economic development in the Capital.

"Thanks to the positive contribution of Ambassador Hiroshi FUKADA, we just achieve this result", Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung confirmed. Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee wishes, by experience and his reputation, Ambassador Hiroshi FUKADA continue to be the bridge to support, establish cooperation relations between Hanoi and the provinces, the cities of Japan, especially Tokyo Capital, in the fields of economy, cultural exchange; at the mean time introducing and urging Japanese companies to invest in Hanoi in the fields of urban transport development, science and technology, education and training, etc.

Expressing his gratitute for the good feelings of the city leaders, Ambassador Hiroshi FUKADA promised to try his best to cultivate the friendship of the two countries, increase sustainable development. "Over the past few years, the Capital of Hanoi has been impressively develop, I believe that Hanoi will grow stronger in the coming time. I desire that I can be a forever friend of Vietnam's People and Hanoi governmental authority," Hiroshi FUKADA Ambassador expressed.
