Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall Winter 2023 will hit the runway at the Quan Ngua Sports Palace in Hanoi from November 8-11, partly helping shape the future of Vietnamese fashion.
According to Trang Le, Chairman of the Association of Southeast Asian Fashion Designers (CAFD) and President of Vietnam International Fashion Week (VIFW), the 16th season of VIFW will bring together renowned designers such as Ivan Tran, Thao Nguyen, Hoang Quyen, Prio Oktaviano (Indonesia), Cao Minh Tien and Henry Kof, among others.

Of particular note is the homecoming of designer Xuan Thu Nguyen (Netherlands) with the brand XUAN - the first Vietnamese designer invited by the French Haute Couture Federation to participate in the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
The event will also feature collections by young designer Phan Dang Hoang, who just made an impression at Milan Fashion Week with a collection inspired by Vietnamese craft villages.
"Returning to Hanoi this season, we continue to convey the message of 'Shaping The Future' with the hope of spreading the spirit of sustainable fashion, thinking together, and finding new solutions to change the world every day. This is not just a trend, but the future of Vietnamese fashion," said Trang Le.
As a result, the event will showcase designs that pay tribute to natural and eco-friendly materials.
Most importantly, the organizer also wants to celebrate more modern and youthful colors. This year's collections are expected to infuse an eco-friendly spirit into the hearts of fashionistas, thanks to the inventiveness of designers and famous domestic and international fashion houses.

Designer Vu Viet Ha's Wave Silk collection will kick off Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2023. This is a walk with silk material through which she spreads a lifestyle that is both trendy and sustainable to the community.
Meanwhile, the designer who will close the show this time is Adrian Anh Tuan. With a romantic fashion language, the designs of Tuan's brand Valenciani promise to be expressed in every stitch.
"This is the 16th time that VIFW has been held and also the 6th time that it has been held in the capital. Having gone through a journey of 15 seasons together, it can be said that this time interval is neither too long nor too short, but enough for Vietnamese fashion to assert its position on the international fashion map. Today, we can proudly look back on the journey together and take Vietnamese fashion forward," Trang Le said.
