Vietnam Digital Awards 2023 recognizes outstanding digital transformation solutions

The Vietnam Digital Awards have an outreach of more than 16,000 agencies, organizations, and enterprises in 63 provinces and cities.
Thirty-eight outstanding digital transformation solutions and organizations were honored at the Vietnam Digital Awards 2023 ceremony on October 7 in Hanoi in response to National Digital Transformation Day (October 10).

The winners included 22 products, services, and solutions, nine outstanding companies and enterprises, and seven state agencies with notable achievements in digital transformation, according to the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA).

Launched on April 18, the Vietnam Digital Awards 2023 reached out to more than 3,000 agencies, organizations, and enterprises, which submitted nearly 350 entries online from across the country.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Minh Hong, chairman of the VDCA and head of the Vietnam Digital Awards 2023 organizing committee, said that many profiles showed outstanding quality and applied various new technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, Internet of Things, blockchain, and cloud computing.

They presented exemplary technological solutions and digital transformation models in the fields of finance, education, tourism, industrial production, media, and public administration.

Appreciating VDA 2023's theme of "Unleashing Digital Data Potential," Nguyen Duc Hien, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, emphasized the importance of data as a critical element for digital transformation and digital economic development.

He also stressed that the Vietnam Digital Awards 2023 will continue to encourage, motivate, and recognize the innovative initiatives of various sectors, agencies, and enterprises.

The Vietnam Digital Awards has reached out to more than 16,000 agencies, organizations, and businesses in 63 provinces and cities and received nearly 1,800 entries over the past six years. It has recognized nearly 400 outstanding digitally transformed agencies, enterprises, and organizations and exemplary digital transformation products and solutions.

Among the 20 awards in the category of excellent digital technology products, services, and solutions that address practical issues and needs in daily life, six went to FPT, a leading technology services provider.

In the category of government agencies with excellent digital transformation, the top three were the Southern Regional Hydro-Meteorological Center, the Danang City People's Committee, and the Quang Tri Province Department of Science and Technology.
