Vietnam among world’s affordable vacation destinations for South Africans
Independent Media has announced its list of the world’s affordable vacation destinations for South Africans.

Vietnam has been ranked 2nd among seven affordable vacation destinations in the world for South Africans, according to a list released by Independent Media, a South Africa’s leading multi-platform content companies.
“You’ll find stunning Vietnam destinations, such as beaches, rivers and other waterways, paddy fields, limestone karsts and more,” Independent Media wrote.
In addition, there are numerous ancient temples to put on your itinerary plus many local stalls selling tasty street food.
Thailand tops the list, followed by Vietnam, Malaysia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Greece, Portugal.
Earlier, Vietnam has been listed among the world’s cheapest countries for Indian tourists, released by The Times of India, a Indian English-language daily newspaper.
Vietnam, a country of stunning landscapes and warm people, follows right after Bali, Indonesia when it comes to the cheapest travel destinations from India.

Foreign visitors to Vietnam are mainly from Asia with about 6.06 million arrivals, up 32.7% year-on-year. Among Asian guests, visitors from China totaled 2.56 million, increasing by 36.1%, those from South Korea reached 1.71 million, increasing by 60.7%.
