From specialized Small Group Tours to bespoke Fully Tailored Journeys, InsideAsia Tours` 2019 offerings provide a variety of ways to discover each destination.
Vietnam has been named among most exciting lineup of new experiences in Southeast Asia for travelers in 2019, according to a list released by Luxury Travel Magazine, one of the world’s leading luxury travel websites.
“InsideAsia Tours' new Gastronomic Trails of Vietnam explores the traditional and contemporary gastronomic landscape of the historic nation. The 13-night culinary adventure uncovers the secrets, flavors, and origins of street delicacies, as well as the evolution of the fine dining scene, and everything in between,” Luxury Travel Magazine wrote.
Luxury Travel Magazine advises travelers that itinerary highlights include exploring Hanoi and Hue with a local street food blogger, private home cooking classes, a rural homestay and farming experience, salt-rice lunches with a culinary master, and street food or craft beer tours by vintage Vespa in Ho Chi Minh City. Rates for this itinerary start at US$4,043 per person.
New Alternative Trekking Adventures in Northern Indochina tops the list, followed by new “insider experiences” with Leading Academics and Personalities in Cambodia, a Royal Encounter in Luang Prabang, a first Michelin Star Experience in Luang Prabang, and epicurean escape in Vietnam.
Earlier, Vietnam has been named among the world’s 10 countries you should visit in 2019 if you’re on a budget, according to a list released by Traveller, the essential resource for Australian travel lovers.
“The best meal of your life, and it will only cost US$2. That’s what’s on offer in Vietnam, not just on one rare occasion, but every time you sit down for breakfast, lunch or dinner,” Traveller wrote.
The number of foreign visitors to Vietnam in 2018 is estimated at 15.5 million, a 19.9% increase from 2017, according to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).
