Matoko acknowledged that UNESCO Office in Hanoi is the most efficient and effective unit in Asia. As Hanoi was awarded the title of City for Peace and became a member of UNESCO's Creative Cities Network, Matoko said that Hanoi is a typical success of Vietnam in UNESCO projects, affirming the effectiveness of UNESCO Hanoi Office.

Vice Chairwoman Vu Thu Ha said that one of Hanoi's priorities is culture which is developed on the basis of promoting the thousand-year tradition of civilization and heroism, absorbing the cultural quintessence of mankind, considering it as an endogenous force, a great spiritual motivation for sustainable development.
