Transerco innovates for community benefits

In 2016, once again Transerco has conducted breakthrough and scientific innovation to reshape Hanoi's bus network.
Despite the fact that 2016 is considered as one of the most difficult years for the industry of public passenger transportation, Transerco still achieved many positive results, better met the travelling needs of the people. Full network continues to be expanded, improved and rationalized with a total of 90 times for the 50-line adjustmentse. Particularly, in December, 2016, Transerco has commissioned 3 more new routes and 1 bus rapid transit (BRT) route, increasing the total number of bus routes to 94 routes throughout the network. Besides, there were 127 new and alternative investment vehicles, bringing the total number of buses to 1,093.
In 2017, Transerco has determined to continue to develop and improve network and improve the quality of passenger service. In particular, Kim Ma - Yen Nghia BRT route have been quickly established, operated and managed. This is public passenger transportation with large volumes aiming to change travelling habits of people. 70 drivers and hundreds of service personnel have been specially trained for professional BRT operator. Most of the officials and employees are taken from the member enterprises of building the foundation for BRT route that are elitely selected from more than 11,000 personnel of Transerco.
In fact, the most developed countries with a network of modern and smartest transportation system such as Japan, France, the United States, etc. have not abandoned buses. Therefore, in the future, Transerco will need to further develop the spirit and collective strength, to explore innovations and solutions that help maximize the role of a business born to serve the community, for the community benefits, to put public interests above all other else.
