The study area covers approximately 174.8 hectares.
The plan aims to attract both domestic and foreign direct investment in Hanoi's industrial zones through infrastructure development. It is planned to be a clean, modern industrial park utilizing advanced, environmentally friendly technologies to minimize environmental impact, conserve resources, and ensure sustainable production activities.
The zoning plan also defines land use functions, spatial and architectural organization principles, land use criteria, and infrastructure system arrangements for each plot, supporting environmental management and control within the industrial park.
The approved zoning plan will serve as the basis for identifying investment projects and developing detailed construction plans for the Phung Hiep Industrial Park. It will focus on industries such as high-tech agricultural bioproducts, high-value agricultural and food processing linked to raw material regions, mechanical engineering, electronics, and supporting industries utilizing modern production processes to reduce pollution and align with Hanoi's industrial development direction.
The park is expected to employ approximately 8,000 workers.
The zoning plan must comply with existing construction and industrial development plans, safety regulations for technical infrastructure, environmental safety standards, and other relevant regulations while reflecting current industrial development in the area.
The analysis will assess service demand and development models, leveraging the natural topography for optimal land use. Coordination with related agencies during the planning process will ensure integrated technical and social infrastructure and effective waste management systems to protect the environment.
The zoning plan is to be completed within 9 months from the approval date of the zoning task.
