Training skills for information exploitation from foreign media
On August 31, in Da Nang, the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) held a training conference on “Information and communication skills for international integration and exploitation of foreign media” for leaders, editors and reporters throughout the country.
Vice Minister of the MIC Nguyen Minh Hong gave a speech at the training.

Opportunities and challenges for businesses and citizens in Vietnam during the international economic integration
Participants at the conference and leaders of ministries also had the opportunity to discuss issues related to exploitation of foreign media on radio, television and websites. The leaders of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared their concerns when exploiting information from foreign press. It is important to avoid harming Vietnam’s external relations and international cooperation with other countries. The prestige and image of Vietnam to the world need to be maintained.
In addition, leaders, editors and reporters have exchanged and shared experiences on how to exploit information to ensure external information of the Party and the State, solutions to limit errors when exploiting information in foreign newspapers, and how to ask for advices from foreign experts and collaborators in foreign propaganda.
