Quang Binh Province holds its big pride for many famous mysterious caves, of which some have been recognized as world heritage sites by UNESCO such as Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. There are also many newly-discovered caves such as Son Doong, Tien Son and Thien Duong.
To diversify services for tourists, the management board of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park has opened zip-line, a service that brings thrilling experiences for tourists, on the route from the Chay River to Toi Cave. Joining the service, tourists will swing on a cable that connects two high poles to explore the beauty of park from the air.

The new service, which has been invested with VND7 billion, is aimed at diversifying tourism products for tourists to the province. Thanks to diverse tourism products, so far this year, the province has welcomed more than 2.4 million tourists and gained nearly VND1 trillion in earnings, increasing about 24% year on year, Vietnamplus reports.
Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park consists of 300 different caves and grottos with limestone structures and the oldest karst formation in Asia, dating back to some 400 million years. It is home to Son Doong, which is credited as the longest and largest cave in Southeast Asia. Into the cave, tourists will be stunned at varied forms of rocks and colors of stalactites.
Recently, as many as 39 grottoes with combined length of 17 kilometers have been discovered in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park by a joint team from the British Caving Research Association, Hanoi Natural Sciences University and the park’s administrators, promising more destinations for adventurous tourists to the province to conquer.
Along with renowned caves, primeval forests of high biodiversity, the province has been also famous for many cultural and historical relics such as archaeological heritages of the Cham culture, vestiges of the military bases of King Ham Nghi in the late 19th century at Mai Rai Mountain, Xuan Son Ferry, and Ho Chi Minh Trail. Moreover, Ngang Pass and Nhat Le Beach are also recommended as must-see destinations for tourists to explore.
