The CFA is part of the UK Government's efforts to help Vietnam meet the commitments made by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at COP26 in Glasgow in 2021.

Organizations will be willing to invest much more than today in addressing climate change over the next three to five years.

The strategy is significant given the fact that Vietnam has long been seen as one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change, natural disasters, and diseases.

Given its central geostrategic location, a burgeoning economy, and large population, Vietnam is fast becoming a key partner of the UK in the Indo-Pacific region.

The UN members said this is an important topic concerning global efforts and actions, requiring a comprehensive approach.
