Singapore wishes to promote cooperation with Hanoi in the field of smart city
On March 24, Hanoi`s Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung met with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on an official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
At the meeting, Hanoi People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung expressed his pleasure to meet Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on his official visit to Vietnam.
Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung highly appreciated the development of Singapore under the leadership of Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, from a difficult country, after 40 years became one of the bright spot of Asia in many areas. Following these achievements, over the past 10 years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, the Republic of Singapore has continued to grow, exemplifying and modeling for many countries in Asia and beyond the world.

The Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee said that in the coming time, Hanoi wishes to cooperate with Singapore in the fields of urban planning and management; tree growing; smart city; human resource training. In particular, Hanoi wishes to cooperate with the Ly Quang Dieu Public School to send Hanoi officials to attend administrative management and training courses to meet the urgent requirements of Hanoi.
