Residents of Ba Vi District can buy farm produce and experience its production at the trading session held in Dong Cao Village, Thuy An Commune, Ba Vi District, Hanoi, in 2023.

The activity will last until December 13.

The fair featured 15 booths displaying 35 safe agricultural products, including One Commune One Product (OCOP) commodities from various communes and towns in Ba Vi District and throughout Hanoi.

At the opening ceremony on December 9, Le Thi Thanh Nhan, Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi Farmers' Association, said that the promotion and consumption of agricultural products in 2023 are in response to the city's programs to boost trade, investment, and tourism.

Nguyen Van Truong, Chairman of the Ba Vi District Farmers' Association, said there are currently 160 OCOP three- and four-star products in the entire Ba Vi district, including many agricultural products that meet Viet Gap and organic criteria.

At present, the association has cooperated with relevant agencies to open three sales outlets for safe agricultural products, set up at the district post office, Cam Tan Village in Cam Linh commune, and the Ba Vi Hill Chicken Cooperative in Dong Cao Village, Thuy An Commune.

As part of the event, the Ba Vi Farmers' Association sold 2.6 tons of yellow oranges from the Ha Giang Provincial Farmers' Association.
