A number of activities are taking place in every part of Vietnam to celebrate International Children’s Day, especially programs held in Hanoi.
Outdoor activities, learning, cultural, and sports programs have been launched citywide since the last days of May to kick off summer leave and in response to Action Month for Children 2024.
Youth Union and relevant agencies have organized practical models to serve the need of children, such as “Being Soldiers”, “Weekend Playground”, “Swimming Lessons”, “Language Training”, “Reading Corner”, among others.
Meanwhile, Action Month for Children titled “Practical action to mobilize resources for children” aims to effectively implement programs for children to ensure good care, protection, and education, creating a safe and healthy environment for children during summertime.
Specifically, the city’s Youth Union has launched a campaign to support children with economic difficulties and offer them scholarships.
To celebrate International Children’s Day, exhibitions, fashion shows, and art performances have been held with the participation of well-known artists.
On this occasion, some places in Hanoi have attracted a large number of children, including Ho Tay Waterpark, Thu Le Zoo, Vietnam Puppet Theater, Central Circus, Lotte World Aquarium, and museums across the city.
