In 2009, the famous travel magazine Travel and Leisure (US) also voted Sapa terraces in Top 7 most beautiful and spectacular terraces in Asia and the world. Early November 2013, on the 110th founding anniversary of Sapa (1903-2013), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to rank Sapa terraced fields as the National Landscape site.
