Themed "Tay Ho Lotus Color", the green bike ride is the largest event of its kind in Vietnam.

This remarkable activity not only celebrates the Hanoi Lotus Festival but also introduces OCOP products associated with the northern mountain culture in 2024.

The riders included residents from the eight wards of Tay Ho District, members of bicycle clubs from Dong Anh, Hoan Kiem, Dong Da, Ba Dinh, Long Bien, Cau Giay, Bac Tu Liem, and Nam Tu Liem wards, sports bicycle clubs, and high school students.

The teams were divided into groups and gathered at eight locations around the West Lake, such as Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, West Lake Flower Valley, Tay Ho Palace, Thang Loi Hotel, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Nguyen Dinh Thi Flower Garden, Van Cao - Trich Sai Intersection, and Lac Long Quan Coconut Ridge Street.

It served as a call for everyone to join hands in protecting the environment and making life greener, Khuyen added.

This collective effort underscores the community's commitment to environmental sustainability and cultural celebration, the chairman said.

At the ceremony, Chairman Nguyen Dinh Khuyen thanked the units, sponsors and enterprises, especially the Jeep Bicycle Company, for their support in organizing the Bicycle Festival.
