"Pride & Prejudice" screened in Hanoi on June 2

The famous film will be screened in Hanoi during the last week of the British Literature on Screen month in Hanoi,
“Pride & Prejudice" directed by Joe Wright will be screened at the Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents (TPD), on 51 Tran Hung Dao Street,  June 2.
“Pride & Prejudice” is based a novel of Jane Austen (1813 ) with the same name. The film is about an English family with five sisters. landed gentry. They had to deal with issues of marriage, morality and misconceptions. Keira Knightley stars takes the protagonist - Elizabeth Bennet, while Matthew Macfadyen plays her romantic mate Mr Darcy.
Produced by Working Title Films in association with StudioCanal, the film was released on 16 September 2005 in the England and Ireland and on November 11 in the United States.
The film screening is for educational purposes and fundraising for Young Cinema Fund of TPD. Donation (at the door) is VND20,000. Doors open at 7 pm and close when the screening room is full. Seats are assigned on first-comefirst-served basis.
Previously, as part of the British Literature on Screen movie month, the Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents introduced “Jane Eyre” and “Far from the Madding Crowd”.
