Hanoi Times – The development of the post and telecom network along the Vietnam-China border has recorded encouraging results, said a representative of the Ministry of Information and Communications on December 20.
To date, there are more than 1,000 postal service spots, over 180 post offices and 850 communal postal centres along the common border. The post and telecom network has basically met the local people’s requirements.

Telecom companies also focused their investment in the development of Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) in most of big districts in the border provinces. However, the ministry said the investment capital has been mainly poured in Quang Ninh and Lang Son.
