Number of Vietnamese tourists to RoK estimated to rise by 20%

Mr.Kang Seong Gil, Head of Representative of Korean Tourism Organization (KTO) in Vietnam said the number of Vietnamese visitors to Republic of Korea (RoK) is expected to reach 170,000 people in 2015, up 20% compared with 2014.
During late July-September, on the occasion of the RoK's biggest tourism promotion, 2,349 Vietnamese visitors came to the country, reaching 200% of the set target.

Especially, a Vietnam's tourism delegation up to 1,529 guests of the 4 Oranges Group visited RoK for the first time in the form of bonus travel. It showed a strong development of bonus travel market in Vietnam.
Korean Consulate General in HCM City Park Noh Wan said Vietnam is expected to welcome as many as 1.1 million Korean tourists in 2015.
He pledged the Korean side will create all favourable conditions for Vietnam tourists to visit RoK and Korean visitors to Vietnam, contributing to promote strongly tourism growth between the two countries.
