North Korea leader Kim Jong Un gets off train in Vietnam

The North Korean leader arrived in Vietnam after a journey of 60 hours.
North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un has stepped out of his armored train in Dong Dang railway station, arriving in Vietnam at around 7:30 am Tuesday [February 26].

A welcome ceremony was held at the station with the attendance of Vietnam’s senior officials led by Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member and head of the Party's Commission for Communication and Education, local media reported. 

The North Korean leader arrived in Vietnam after a journey of 60 hours, according to media. 

The journey of 4,500 km started in Pyongyang, across China to the north of Vietnam before he reaches Hanoi for the summit with US President Trump on February 27 and 28. 

Hundreds of domestic and international reporters have been waiting for hours at Dong Dang railway station to cover news on the arrival. 

Kim will get to Hanoi on an amored vehicle. It will take about an hour and a half to get to Hanoi on a 170-km expressway.
