Japan to help Vietnam develop Information - Communications technology

"Japan is willing to share experiences on developing information -communication technology with the Vietnamese Government, the Ministry of Information and Communication, as well as Vietnamese businesses". This is confirmed by Japanese Vice Minister of Internal Affairs and Communication Yasuo Sakamoto.

Last week, a policy dialogue on information - communication technology took place in Hanoi between Japanese Vice Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Yasuo Sakamoto and Minister of Information and Communication Nguyen Bac Son.
The vice minister proposed that the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications cooperate with the Japanese side to organize a workshop on smart television in Vietnam in March 2015.
Smart television is designed to connect with smart phones and Internet, providing online interactive media and over-the-top content up to the latest technical and safety standards.
Earlier, the Minister Nguyen Bac Son has suggested the Japanese Government, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications to support the cooperation between Vietnamese businesses with Japanese companies, particularly in software manufacturing sector and postage.
Minister Nguyen Bac Son affirmed that Vietnam is willing to act as a bridge between Japan and the ASEAN Community in the field of Information - Communications technology.
