Several industries posted increases such as textile (20.2%), leather and leather products (19.4%) and ready-made clothes (14%).
The northern port city of Hai Phong and the central city of Da Nang were among the localities seeing the highest IIP increase rates, with11.3% and 10.5% respectively. They were followed by Quang Nam province (8.9%), Dong Nai province (7.1%), Binh Duong province (6.5%), Ha Noi (3.9%), Bac Ninh (4.8%), Vinh Phuc (0.2%), Can Tho (5%), Hai Duong (6.4%) and Da Nang (10.5%).
Meanwhile, decline in industrial production was seen in Quang Ninh province (3.5%), Ba Ria-Vung Tau province (1.7%), and Quang Ngai (1.9%).
