In line with the ongoing digital transformation in the tourism sector, the app offers real-time information to help travelers explore the district more thoroughly.
Meanwhile, the accompanying guidebook delivers up-to-date details on attractions, dining options, accommodations, and suggested itineraries, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching travel experience. Available in both print and digital formats in English and Vietnamese, the guide aims to effectively promote tourism to both local and international visitors.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Quoc Hoan, Deputy Chairman of the Hoan Kiem District People's Committee, highlighted that the travel app and guidebook lay a strong foundation for advancing digital transformation within the tourism sector. "The initiative would generate significant economic, cultural, and social benefits for the community, while also creating opportunities for future collaboration, investment, and business development."
“This initiative marks a major step forward for Hoan Kiem tourism, enhancing the appeal of local attractions and products, improving service quality, and encouraging greater involvement from both the community and businesses in the district’s tourism development,” he said.
During the launch event, attendees were invited to experience both the tourism app and the digital version of the guidebook firsthand.
