Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park sets target to attract US$ 1 billion in investment in 2018
Implementing the Government`s policy of promoting investment, Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park is aiming at attracting investment of US$ 1 billion in 2018.

Meanwhile, procedures are underway for two projects developed by Japanese NIDEC Group at 400 million USD so they can become operational in the first quarter of 2019. Currently, the park is home to 83 projects with total registered capital of 3.4 billion USD.
Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park, approved in 1998, is the first and the largest high-tech facility in Vietnam, spanning 1,586 hectares. It is expected to become a model science space and a national hub for technology development and application.

Last year, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc inked a decree stipulating some preferential mechanisms and policies for Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park to extricate difficulties and attract investment.
In addition, Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Management Board will review the projects that have been granted the Certificate of Accreditation to ensure timely implementation and avoid waste of land in the coming time.
In recent years, Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park has achieved encouraging results in many fields. Ground clearance works meet the requirement of ODA infrastructure investment by Japanese Government as well as attract investment in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park. Construction of legal documents is gradually being finalized.
