According to Ta Nam Chien, Chairman of the Ba Dinh District People's Committee, the renovation of the flower garden will provide locals with a better place for outdoor activities. This remains one of the public works marking the 15th anniversary of administrative boundary expansion.
"The newly renovated flower garden can contribute to the beautification of Hanoi's landscape. This is also a highlight in the locality," he said.
Earlier, two out of five flower gardens around Truc Bach Lake have already been renovated to implement the City Party Committee's program on "Urban beautification, urban development and urban economy in the period 2021-2025."
Ba Dinh District also plans to renovate some other public facilities, including flower gardens on Phan Dinh Phung Street, Hoang Dieu Street, Van Xuan Street, and Indira Gandhi Park in the coming time.
The renovation of Le Truc Flower Garden was completed on July 25 after over two months. It has a children's playground, an open-air stage, stone pavement, walkways, and green trees.
The construction is said to fit into the surrounding area.
"The newly renovated flower garden is much larger and tidier than before. Both children and adults now have their own space to play, socialize and exercise," said Nguyen Van Quyet, a resident of Dien Bien Ward, Ba Dinh District.
