The event, held on November 17 in the surrounding area near Thien Quang Lake, was jointly organized by the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations and the Hai Ba Trung District People’s Committee.
This annual friendship exchange event has garnered significant interest and support from friends at home and abroad. According to Nguyen Ngoc Ky, Chairman of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations, the city’s government and residents are committed to urban development, environmental protection, education of younger generations, and addressing challenges related to urbanization and ecological sustainability.
“We hope this event will raise awareness among those living and working in Hanoi about maintaining a green environment and encourage continuous action to protect the environment and reduce air pollution. We also want people to keep up the habit of cycling as an eco-friendly and healthy activity,” Ky said.

During the program, the organizers presented 10 bicycles to students from Hai Ba Trung District who had overcome difficulties in excelling in their studies. These meaningful gifts are intended to motivate and encourage the students to continue their efforts and become valuable contributors to society.
