Hanoi to take measures for Vietnamese seafood shipments returned
The Hanoi People’s Committee Office has recently released Official Letter No. 2743/VP-KT on major missions and measures to deal with the Vietnamese seafood shipments which were warned and returned by foreign countries.

Attention should be paid to supervising and early detecting diseases in aquaculture and giving warnings to farmers and instructing them to use aquatic veterinary drugs according to regulations; enhancing inspection of trading, using banned substances, environmental treatment substances and veterinary drugs to preserving seafood; strictly handling violation cases as stipulated by law.
Regarding to the matter, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Van Suu assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to take prime responsibility and coordinate the Department of Health, relevant departments, sectors, localities and units to carry out the above-mentioned directive; give a report on contents beyond the authorization for its consideration and settlement.
