The festival's program includes a ceremony to honor artisans and craftsmen, the opening ceremony, and an international exhibition of craft village products and One Commune One Product (OCOP) goods at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.

Nguyen Thi Hoang Yen, deputy head of the Department of Economic Cooperation and Rural Development, told a press conference on September 26 that six events will be held in response to the Vietnam Craft Village Festival 2023, including an art show of traditional cultural craft villages, an international workshop on craft villages with about 250 foreign and domestic delegates, a Vietnam-San Marino trade networking workshop with about 100 participants, and a Vietnam-Mongolia trade promotion workshop with about 150 delegates.

At the event, Mr. Ta Van Tuong, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, said that in addition to the festival activities, the Hanoi People's Committee will organize other events such as the "Craft Ancestor Procession and Craft Village Cultural Tourism and Trade Week in Van Phuc 2023" in Van Phuc Silk Village.

In addition, the Development, in cooperation with the Me Linh District People's Committee, will hold the "Award Ceremony for Hanoi Craft Village Products 2023" to showcase OCOP products related to the culture of the southern provinces in Me Linh District.

In Phu Xuyen District, the local Craft Village Product Fair and Exhibition will take place with about 200 booths representing various craft villages.

Meanwhile, the Hanoi Autumn Festival 2023 at Hoan Kiem Lake will be held by the Hanoi Investment, Trade and Tourism Center (Hanoi Promotion Agency) with about 200 booths.

As part of the handicraft promotion program, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade will host the Hanoi International Handicrafts and Gifts Fair 2023 at Hoan Kiem Lake with an expected 400 booths.

Furthermore, there will be visits to handicraft villages in Hanoi organized by the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in cooperation with the Hanoi Department of Tourism.
