Hanoi to host festival to inspire sci-tech passion among students
The 3rd Festival of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) will be organised in Hanoi on May 14-15 to mark the Vietnam Science and Technology Day, May 18.
The Festival of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics aims to promote STEM education and inspire the passion for science and technology among students.
According to the National Agency for Science and Information Technology, the event will introduce to the public a diversity of STEM education models in order to improve the teaching and learning of science-related subjects at schools and develop creativity and flexibility in students.
The festival, themed “Time Machine”, includes experiments and practical activities that will take students on a journey from the past into the future with corresponding scientific events from human history.
The festival is expected to take place in other cities and provinces across the country with the aim of spreading STEM education and nurturing the passion for science and technology among students.
