Hanoi is committed to facilitating the growth of enterprises in the capital and Nghe An Province, said Mac Quoc Anh, Secretary General of the Hanoi Small and Medium Enterprises Association (Hanoisme) on October 27.

Speaking at the Hanoi-Nghe An Trade and Investment Promotion Conference in Nghe An's capital city of Vinh, Anh said that Hanoisme would organize activities and provide support for all businesses operating in the capital city.
"To achieve win-win relations, we hope to cooperate with local organizations and agencies and organize practical events to strengthen the link between local businesses," he said.
The association hopes that the business community will strive to improve their production and sales and the conference is a good opportunity to connect businesses in Hanoi and Nghe An.
At the event, local businesses can explore potential partnerships to improve two-way trade and investment between the capital and the central coastal province, Anh added.
"Stronger ties between Hanoi and Nghe An businesses will meet local market demand, stabilize prices, and boost domestic purchasing power," he said.
At the conference, Nguyen Thi Mai Anh, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Promotion Agency, gave a briefing on the capital's socio-economic development and investment conditions.
She highlighted Hanoi's foreign direct investment (FDI) figures and outstanding One Commune - One Product (OCOP) items.
She also underscored the policies to attract investment and enterprises to Hanoi, the support packages for OCOP and agricultural production, and the advantages of Hanoi's business community.
In return, officials from Nghe An also gave a presentation on similar topics related to the brands, products and services, investment conditions, and opportunities that the province offers in the market.
"The conference is expected to promote local brands and policies in both Hanoi and Nghe An province. Through the conference, we hope that businesses in Hanoi and Nghe An will be able to expand their markets and operations and find new sources of consumption," said Nguyen Huu Minh, Director of the Nghe An Provincial Promotion Agency.
The conference was attended by some 200 government officials and business executives from Hanoi and Nghe An province, as well as students from Vinh University.
In recent years, the two localities have achieved impressive results in their trade, investment, and tourism relations, boosting their socio-economic growth and ensuring national security and social stability, Minh said.
At the conference, entrepreneurs and business executives donated the "Students' Bookshelf" for Vinh University and presented some scholarships to outstanding students.
Hanoi brands showcased in Vinh pedestrian area
Twenty-five booths were set up on pedestrian streets in downtown Vinh City on October 27 to present Hanoi brands and products.
These booths recreated the image of a peaceful, dynamic Hanoi in Vinh, and offered local people and tourists a chance to experience Hanoi-made food, handicrafts, and arts.
Typical products included Moc An green rice, Uoc Le pork sausage, Ho Tay (West Lake) shrimp cakes, and Thanh Tri steamed roll rice pancakes.
The typical Hanoi-style designs of the stalls momentarily created a new landscape on the pedestrian streets, attracting thousands of people to visit and explore.
On the same day, the trade promotion agencies of Hanoi and Nghe An province organized the opening of the Hanoi-Nghe An Trade, Investment and Tourism Promotion Festival.
The event was attended by municipal authorities and trade promotion agencies of the two localities, as well as more than 100 enterprises.
"The inauguration shows the deep ties between Hanoi and Nghe An in trade, investment, and tourism and realize the cooperation agreement between the two localities in 2019," said Huu Minh, Director of the Nghe An Provincial Promotion Agency.
