Hanoi targets to reach 5 billion USD in revenue from IT sector in 2015

On April 23, Hanoi has issued a development plan for the information technology (IT) industry. Accordingly, revenue of IT industry is planned to gain 5 billion USD, and growth rate of the software and content industry is targeted to reach 15% in 2015.
In order to accomplish this goal, Hanoi will speed up the construction progress of Centralised IT zones, the key software and digital content park zone, and Cau Giay Centralised Information Technology Zone.

Besides, the city improves the competitiveness and market development for IT businesses in the area. Hanoi also supports some strong businesses with modern production processes to meet the growing demand of both domestic and international market.
According to the plan, the city targets to reach about 3 billion USD in IT's revenue from hardware industry in 2015.
