Hanoi Supporting Industry Fair 2024 draws big business

Big multinationals from Vietnam, Japan, China, Thailand, and Malaysia will gather at the event, which opened on September 18.

Hanoi Supporting Industry Fair 2024 will gather big domestic and international names, including NC Network Vietnam, a branch of Japan's NC Network Group, Mitutoyo Vietnam Co., Ltd., CNCTECH Group, TCI Industrial, and ETEK Automation Solutions.

The above names will be there together with nearly 40 local and international purchasing organizations, including Tiger Vietnam Co., Ltd., Panasonic Vietnam, Samsung Electronics Vietnam, and TOTO Vietnam, creating trade opportunities and facilitating the conclusion of contracts and agreements on the spot.
The event covers 250 booths showcasing a range of products, including components, spare parts, and support for leading-edge industries.

  

Nguyen Van, Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi Supporting Industry Association, emphasized that this fair opens up opportunities for companies that want to modernize their production lines to meet the suppliers. 

He said to help develop Hanoi's ancillary industries, the city must encourage business efforts while facilitating production space rental and credit options.

Yasuo Uchihara, Director of NC Network Vietnam Joint Stock Company, shared that NC Network and FNA Group have an extensive manufacturing network with nearly 40,000 members in Japan, Vietnam, China and Thailand. The event's participants are ready to forge partnerships and seek opportunities for their business ventures.

In her opening remarks, Nguyen Kieu Oanh, Deputy Director of Hanoi's Department of Industry and Trade, outlined the city's vision to develop supporting industries for 2021-2025 and transform Hanoi into a modern, high-tech and environmentally friendly industrial hub by 2030. To this end, the city has approved a comprehensive program for supporting industrial development from 2020 to 2025.

She added that the fair aims to further stimulate business matching and empower supporting industry enterprises in marketing their products and expanding their markets.

"This event promises opportunities for supporting industry companies to increase their brand visibility, engage in investment and trade activities, and leverage their strengths in the capital's economic landscape," she stated.

Notably, they will also be able to participate in the global supply chains.

It is estimated that in the first seven months of 2024, the industrial production index increased by 5.2% year on year. According to the Municipal People's Committee, the processing and manufacturing sector posted an increase of 4.4%, while the electricity production and distribution sector recorded an uptick of 12.8%.
