During the meeting, the city’s mayor emphasized that building on the strong ties between Vietnam and Japan, Hanoi always prioritizes fostering friendly relations and actively promoting cooperation with various Japanese localities.

In recent years, an increasing number of Japanese corporations and businesses have invested in Hanoi with large-scale projects, contributing positively to the city's growth and urban development. Japan is also a key partner in technology transfer, technical assistance, and various training programs and projects, said Thanh.

He also responded to several inquiries from the IWH Group regarding potential projects, including plans to invest in a hospital in the North Hanoi Smart City and the establishment of a new university in the city.

Thanh assured that Hanoi's administration supports IWH Group's proposal to invest in the development of high-quality, Japanese-standard healthcare facilities in the city. He also expressed strong support for bilateral cooperation in the healthcare sector. The city pledged to facilitate and guide the collaboration effectively.

In response, IUHW’s executive Kunimori expressed his appreciation and undertook to do his utmost during his term to advance projects between the two sides.

Acknowledging the competence and eagerness of Vietnamese healthcare professionals who have participated in exchange programs in Japan, he extended an invitation to Hanoi's healthcare officials to visit, learn, and share experiences at IUHW facilities in Japan.
