The local authorities prohibit all activities that encroach on the classified relics and their protection areas.

Hanoi has new city-level relics following the decision signed by Vu Thu Ha, Deputy Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Committee.

The list includes Nguyen Clan Temple in Trung Hoa Commune, Chuong My District; Sen Tri Commune in Binh Yen Commune, Thach That District; Go Man Temple in Ha Bang Commune, Thach That District; Nguyen Chinh Clan Temple in Binh Minh Commune, Thanh Oai District.

The Hanoi People's Committee has assigned the Chuong My, Thach That, and Thanh Oai districts' administrations the responsibility of defining and publicizing the relics protection area and planning and planting the area's boundary markers in accordance with their authority and applicable laws.

The People's Committees of Trung Hoa, Binh Yen, Ha Ban,g and Binh Minh communes, where the relics are located, will set up a management committee to be in charge of the area, all artifacts belonging to the relics, activities to protect and promote their values, and to spend the relics' income according to the city's regulations.

In addition, the Hanoi People's Committee strictly prohibits all activities that encroach on the classified relics and their protection areas.

In particular, the Nguyen Clan Temple in Trung Hoa commune was built in the early 18th century. The temple includes the front hall, the back hall, and the ceremonial gate, which still preserves many valuable artifacts, especially the stone stele "Nguyen Clan Genealogy" carved in 1869, which lists the names of two high-ranking scholars, Nguyen Nhuan and Nguyen Hy Tai, along with other successful candidates of the royal court examination. During the years of the war against the USA (from 1965 to 1972), the temple of the Nguyen clan was a shelter for Soviet experts of the Aircraft and Missile Repair Unit. It also served as a repository for the archives of neighboring Laos.
