
Kinh te & Do thi (Economic & Urban) Newspaper on February 18 pledged to assist the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) and domestic agencies to develop a sustainable tourism industry.

The newspaper will be the official media partner for VITA and its member businesses, which promotes the policies and guidelines of the Party, the Government, Hanoi authorities, and other localities in tourism development.
The two sides will publish information about the Government’s incentives, and cooperation between localities, tourism associations, and businesses to foster digital and green transformation.
Kinh te & Do thi will support VITA to organize media activities and bolster the relations between tourism businesses and related parties like airlines, transport companies, hotels, restaurants, service providers, and human resource suppliers.
The newspaper and the national tourism association will co-host seminars and forums to discuss policy challenges and success stories and highlight technological advancements in tourism among VITA members.

In the near future, the newspaper will serve as the official media sponsor for the Vietnam International Travel Mart 2025 (VITM 2025).
Both agencies will collaborate to create criteria for readers to vote and select the best green tourism businesses.
The newspaper will also enable tourism businesses to propose their opinions to government agencies in improving tourism management, infrastructure development, and product innovation and marketing.
Through Kinh te & Do thi, VITA and domestic businesses can voice their concerns about challenges in the industry, promote sustainable tourism, and prepare for potential risks.
VITA now has 60 provincial tourism associations and 17,000 member businesses.
Media plays a crucial role in benefiting Vietnam’s tourism sector, said VITA Chairman Vu The Binh.

“This agreement is a practical step in promoting the tourism industry,” he said.
“Kinh te & Do thi will be a key media partner in tourism communication,” Binh added.
The newspaper covers various socio-economic, and it is a trusted source of information for Hanoi residents, said Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Thanh Loi.
To support businesses and government agencies, the newspaper has already partnered with 28 districts, universities, and associations, he added.
The cooperation with VITA will help the tourism sector share its successes and challenges, Loi said.
“Kinh te & Do thi and VITA pledge to promote tourism, and grow the industry into an economic spearhead,” he said.
