The project, subject to approval by the Hanoi People's Council, would help strengthen the connection between the My Duc and Ung Hoa districts.
Under the proposal, the My Duc District People’s Committee is set to be the project owner, to build a new modern transport route to bolster connectivity in the surrounding areas, and reduce traffic congestion.
“This is the prerequisite for socio-cultural-economic development in the region and meets the rising travel needs of the people,” stated the proposal.
In addition, the project would help maintain social welfare and enhance national security in My Duc and neighboring districts.
According to the design, the bridge would have a length of 241 meters and ramps at each end totaling 2,359 meters.
The investment capital for the project will come from the city's budget and be built in 2023-2026.
