Hanoi party officials assigned with new tasks

Six out of 16 key posts have been assigned with new tasks for the 2021-2026 term.

Under the announcement released on October 26, major leaders will be appointed to the following mission.

Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, a Politburo member – the most powerful body of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and Secretary of the municipal Party Committee, is assigned to hold the head of the Hanoi National Assembly deputy delegation for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh, member of the Party’s Standing Committee and chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, is nominated for the chairman of the municipal People’s Committee in the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, deputy standing head of the Hanoi People’s Council, is nominated for the head of the municipal People’s Council.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, deputy head of the Hanoi Party Committee, is assigned deputy standing head of the Hanoi Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phong is assigned deputy head of the municipal Party Committee, responsible for the Party building issues.

Mr. Nguyen Doan Toan, deputy chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, is assigned head of the municipal Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission.

Ms. Bui Huyen Mai, head of the Hanoi Labor Union, is assigned head of the Communications and Education Commission under the Hanoi Party Committee.

The six aforementioned officials are among 16 members of the municipal Party’s Standing Committee that oversees and decides the most important daily issues of the capital city.

The remaining officials keep the current positions. They include:

Mr. Vu Duc Bao, head of the municipal Party Committee’s Organization Commission.

Mr. Hoang Trong Quyet, head of the Hanoi Party Committee’s Inspection Commission.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Duc, head of the municipal Party Committee’s Internal Affairs.

Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, head of the Vietnam Fatherland Front – Hanoi.

Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha, deputy head of the municipal People’s Council.

Mr. Le Hong Son, deputy head of the Hanoi People’s Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Dong, head of the municipal Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Duyet, Commander of the Capital City Military Command.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Trung, head of the municipal Department of Public Security.
