On the evening of September 7, in an interview concerning the response to super typhoon Yagi or Storm No.3, she shared that she personally contacted all 30 district and city secretaries to ensure the implementation of public safety protocols.

Following the directive of the Hanoi Party Committee, local sectors and authorities have coordinated efforts to implement timely actions. These efforts include evacuating people from hazardous buildings, setting up safe shelters, stationing emergency teams, and maintaining critical infrastructure to safeguard public well-being.

Hoai also commended the work of local authorities, military, and police forces, as well as the cooperation of the citizens, which helped reduce the impact of the storm.

She stressed the importance of staying vigilant, closely monitoring the weather, and ensuring preparedness for any future emergencies, urging leadership at all levels to uphold a strong sense of responsibility.

Though the storm may be weakening, unpredictable weather continues to pose a threat. Therefore, she reiterated that the main priority is protecting people’s lives and reducing property damage. She called for unified efforts from all sectors to support citizens, urging authorities to take on maximum responsibility.
