Hanoi - Paris signed medical cooperation MOU
On November 30 morning, signing ceremony for Memorandum of Cooperation between the Hanoi Health Department and Management Agency of Public Hospitals of Paris (APHP).
Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Florence Verber, APHP's Director of International Relations said, on the basis of visits, exchange of delegations between Hanoi and Paris, the two sides have identified the need for cooperation, from that building an effective action plan, that is practical to Vietnam and Hanoi. Director Verber confirmed to participate and improve the quality of health services for Hanoi. It is APHP's honor and she pledged to work closely with the Capital so that projects will be successful cooperation. Besides, "the support, guidance and support interest from the City leaders are also extremely essential to ensure the success of this cooperation program," she Verber stressed.
The signing ceremony with the participation of Chairman of Hanoi People`s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung and leaders of relevant departments of the local and foreign experts.
City Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung said the Hanoi health sector always aim to improve the facilities and technology to serve the people of the Capital. He expressed the hope that with the signing of the Memorandum of cooperation between the Hanoi Department of Health and APHP, the two sides will further cooperation, he said the city has also prepared financial resources as well as human cooperation activities.The City Chairman expressed expectations that on her position, Ms. Verber will have an important contribution so that this cooperation will be successfully and effectively implemented.
Contents of cooperation that the two sides agreed include: Coordinating project participants to build the new Children's Hospital, the new Heart Hospital, EMS emergency system; Training leaders in the executive department and hospital management, piloted in Ha Noi Obstetrics Hospital. The cooperative activities in the form of organized tours, studying in Paris for less than 15 days by APHP' doctors or specialists in Hanoi; Organizing training courses with a maximum duration of 3 months in Paris and expert meeting in Hanoi. With the agreed time in 5 years, the two sides will assess preliminary annual activity to determine the direction in the following years.
