At the visit, the General Director of Meiko Vietnam Ida Shuji said the company is specialized in manufacturing printed circuit boards (PCB), electronic components, and parts.

Every year, the company recorded revenue growth of 20%. In 2022, Meiko Vietnam posted an export turnover of US$408 million and imports of over $266 million. The company also paid over VND52 billion ($2.21 million) in taxes and land rental fees.

According to Shuji, the company has over 4,780 employees with an average income of VND10.3 million ($440) per month.

The city's mayor presents gifts to the company's staff and workers.

“The company’s positive business performance was partly thanks to the support from the local authorities, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic and the disruption of global supply chains,” he said.

For his part, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh appreciated Meiko Vietnam's contribution to the State budget and the creation of stable jobs for nearly 5,000 workers.

“Hanoi is committed to supporting the company in any administrative process, land procedure, and customs clearance. In case of any issue, the company may contact the Office of the People’s Committee or any other municipal agency for timely support,” Thanh said.

On behalf of the city's leadership, Thanh sent his New Year greetings to all staff and workers of Meiko Vietnam and hoped that the company will reach new heights in the coming year.
