On March 31, the event occurred adjacent to the Hanoi Cooperative Alliance's headquarters in Van Quan Ward, Ha Dong District.

More than 100 cooperative groups of cooperative alliances from Hanoi and provinces all over the country participated in a week-long fair promoting the sale of farm produce and handicrafts recognized by the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program to showcase their products and agricultural models linked to eco-tourism.

Do Huy Chien, the chairman of the Hanoi Cooperative Alliance, stated that the week-long fair aims to promote farm goods, processed foods, and OCOP items related to rural and agricultural sectors and traditional craft villages from Hanoi and other areas.

"The event is also intended to link tourism promotion activities between the city and localities throughout the country, contributing to increasing the brand value of products, preserving the value of traditional craft villages, and boosting the development of agricultural production and services."

The fair drew up to 45 stalls with diverse themes displaying handicrafts, farm produce, foodstuffs, OCOP products, agricultural materials and localities’ specialties, traditional villages from five major cities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Haiphong, Cantho, Danang and provinces such as Bac Giang, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Hai Duong and Thai Nguyen.

Exhibits at the event are three-star or higher OCOP-qualified products, regional specialties, handicrafts, and pending OCOP-qualification candidates, with clear traceability and eye-catching packaging and labels.

The Hanoi booth features Com (green sticky rice) from Me Tri Village, Banh Cuon (steamed rice pancakes) from Thanh Luong Village, clean vegetables from Chuc Son Cooperative, organic rice from Tam Hung, spring rolls and rolls from Uoc Le, embroidery and vermicelli from Duong Lieu, and organic flower tea from Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park.

Ha Dong District resident Pham Thi Hanh stated: "I am attending the fair because OCOP goods have three to four stars, making me feel very confident to purchase them. Additionally, the fair featured a variety of goods from Hanoi and other regions."
