The event aims to promote and introduce OCOP products, ornamental animals, agriculture, handicrafts, handicraft villages, culture, tourism and typical cuisine of Soc Son district and other localities.
It is expected to be an opportunity for exhibitors to widely promote brands, products, and agricultural models related to ecotourism to visitors and consumers in the capital.
Through the festival, they can foster agricultural economic development, build new rural areas, preserve communal spaces and cultural traditions, and introduce tourism potential and products with natural origin.
This is also an opportunity for the government and people of Soc Son district to tap the potential of agriculture and OCOP products, tourism products, and traditional local culture.
A special art program will be held dedicated to the Giong Festival of Soc Temple, which is accredited by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
In addition, the festival will also have many side activities such as a rice cooking contest; phoenix-shaped betel wrapping; to he (traditional toy figurines) making and embroidery.
