The growth of artisan villages and agriculture has improved the lives of farmers and aided in the socioeconomic advancement of the city.

The Hanoi Agricultural Products and Craft Village Festival gives companies a chance to reach a large consumer base with Vietnamese products.

For those who love to travel and explore local specialties, the Hanoi Agricultural Products and Craft Village Festival organized by the Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA) in Hoang Mai District (December 26-30) is an opportunity for consumers to satisfy their desires.

Nguyen Thi Hoai Huong, a resident of Linh Dam urban area in Hoang Mai District, told The Hanoi Times: "I usually have to travel far to buy dried buffalo meat and Tu Le sticky rice from Yen Bai Province. Fortunately, the district's Agricultural Products Festival offers local specialties, including dishes I have never tried before. The products on display have a guarantee of origin, and consumers can find products of the highest safety and quality."

"I think this program offers goods at attractive prices. I have to say 'attractive' because the products I bought were cheap but of good quality. They have been approved by the relevant authorities, so I feel quite safe," said Nguyen Pham Ky Nhan, a 46-year-old man living in Thanh Xuan District.

Nguyen Thi Xuan Mung, Deputy Director of Vietnam Ginseng Production Ltd.Co, who brought typical specialties of Bac Giang Province to the fair, including ginseng tea, ginseng vermicelli, ginseng noodles, and herbal ginseng shampoo, said her company's products are more popular among consumers thanks to fairs like this. "We can expand our sales by signing cooperation agreements with partners and customers."

"This result shows the great efficiency the event brings to businesses," Thang said.

The famous Shan Tuyet tea and many kinds of herbal tea made by Dinh Duc Tam's company are introduced at the festival.

Dinh Duc Tam, Director of Long Van International Import-Export Investment Company, an exhibitor at the event, highlighted that the company is showcasing a variety of specialties from the highland province of Lam Dong, including the famous Shan Tuyet tea and many kinds of herbal tea, which have received a four-star One Community, One Product (OCOP) certification.

"It provides an excellent opportunity for the company to increase the visibility of Shan Tuyet tea among consumers in the capital while gaining access to modern retail channels for product distribution," Tam told The Hanoi Times.
