The Ha Long - Hai Phong Expressway officially came into operation on September 1 after almost four years of construction.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that the Ha Long-Hai Phong expressway plays an important role in completing the connection linking the northern economic region.
