Golden Bridge wins special award at the 2018 Guide Awards
With an impressive design resembling a yellow ribbon on the hands of a god, at a height of 1,400m on Ba Na peak, the Golden Bridge (Cau Vang) has become the most attractive destination in Da Nang since its official launch in early June 2018.
The Golden Bridge has been named among the top five special awards of the year under the 2018 Guide Awards with theme “Tourism and Digital Transformation”. The Guide Awards is an annual event held by The Guide magazine in coordination with the Vietnam Economic Times.
Among the winners of the award are also Vietnam Airlines JSC, Azerai Can Tho resort, Paradise Cruises, and the Hanoi-based French restaurant Clover at Ngoc Thuy.

The bridge's reputation has even surpassed Vietnam's borders, praised by prestigious news agencies, newspapers and social networks as one of the world's most spectacular walking bridges. Earlier, Golden Bridge in Da Nang city has been ranked the second among the top 100 greatest places all over the world, according to a list released by TIME, a US weekly news magazine.
Accordingly, this is the first annual of the world’s greatest places as chosen by the TIME magazine. “Walk through the hands of Gods over this spectacular new bridge in Vietnam. The splendid architecture deserves a spot on this list of greatest places,” TIME wrote.
The total number of visitors to Da Nang in the first nine months of 2018 was estimated at over 6.5 million, an increase of 27.7% over the same period last year, according to the Da Nang Department of Tourism.
