According to the newspaper, Vietnam is one of the most beautiful countries in Asia. From mid-March, vaccinated and convalescent people would be allowed to enter the country quarantine-free. So, “It’s high time for a clever tidbit about the country, people and culture,” it recommended.

The nation’s beautiful landscapes and incredibly delicious food won the heart of many travelers around the world, including staff writers of the German news agency.
The Stuttgarter-nachrichten.de gives five reasons why people should travel to the popular Southeast Asian holiday destination, including attractive culinary, great beaches, wonderful nature, among others.
According to the newspaper, Vietnamese cuisine is one of the tastiest in the world. Fish and meat are among the main ingredients. But vegetarians need no fear - many restaurants offer meat-free options. Especially soup fans get their money's worth in Vietnam.
The national dish called Pho is a spicy soup with rice noodles, meat, and vegetables. Summer and spring rolls or Nem cuon are also among the absolute classics. A remnant of French colonial rule is the Vietnamese baguette Banh mi. The sandwich can be bought anywhere in the country - it is filled with pie, meat, vegetables and herbs.
The nation’s long coastline also impresses the news agency as it wrote that “Vietnam scores with a large number of beautiful beaches”.

Halong Bay, which is located in the north of the country, is a must-see destination. “The limestone cliffs and the turquoise sea make the UNESCO World Heritage Site a real tourist magnet,” it wrote.
“If you don’t want to just lie around lazily, you can grab a canoe and explore numerous caves. Otherwise, some of the small, untouched islands in Vietnam are also worth a visit. Phu Quoc is a good example. Half of the island is a national park and it has beautiful white sandy beaches,” it suggested.
For other interesting places of interest in Vietnam, Stuttgarter-nachrichten.de suggests travelers visit the Mekong River.
“The fertile soil allows farmers to harvest rice three times a year. That’s why there are an incredible number of rice fields to marvel at,” the newspaper wrote. A special highlight is the floating market of Cai Rang. Hundreds of wooden boats filled with mangoes, sugar cane and other foods float on the water and people trade their goods. In order to really experience the tranquility of life in the Mekong Delta, you should plan at least three days.
Narrow streets, old temples and magnificent buildings - the historic cities of Vietnam are absolutely worth seeing.
A pearl in the heart of Vietnam is the city of Hoi An, it suggested. The historic old town is the only one that was not completely destroyed during the war. That is why it was also named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. However, the capital city Hanoi is also worth a detour! Visiting the iconic lake of the capital- the Hoan Kiem Lake, travelers may have a chance to indulge themselves in the funky daily life of the residents there: people do their morning exercises around the lake. “Why don’t you try a Tai Chi exercise?” it recommended.

“If you want to immerse yourself in nature, you should definitely not miss the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Here is an old cave system that is provided with underground rivers. A boat trip is a true spectacle,” he proposed.
Another destination in the southern part of Vietnam - the Nui Chua National Park in Ninh Thuan Province is an ideal place for natural discovery. Located on the east coast, the park features over 600 plant species and over 200 animal species. “All are waiting for travelers to discover!” the article noted.
