The event has attracted over 100 units and businesses from 32 provinces and cities across the country, showcasing local specialties and traditional crafts.
At the opening ceremony on September 26, Nguyen Huu Tuyen, Chairman of the Bac Tu Liem District People's Committee, emphasized that the fair serves as a trade bridge between producers and consumers, boosting domestic market consumption.
He added that the event also assists businesses in recovering from the impacts of Typhoon No. 3.
The Chairman highlighted Bac Tu Liem's rich cultural heritage, featuring hundreds of historical sites and traditional craft villages. The district is renowned for its quality products, including Tay Luu flowers, Dong Ngac ornamental plants, Dien grapefruit, Xuan Dinh sapodilla, and various traditional foods.
The fair includes traditional Ao dai (long dress) fashion shows, special products, and tastings, Tuyen said.
Attendees can enjoy performances that blend traditional and modern art, explore fossil collections at the Hanoi Fossil Museum, and capture beautiful moments at floral displays from Tay Tuu Village.
This event celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) and is jointly organized by the Hanoi Promotion Agency and the Bac Tu Liem District People's Committee.
