The annual event is part of the city's key industrial product development program.

This year's exhibition, which runs from October 16 to 18, features over 200 booths from key industrial enterprises in Hanoi, as well as major domestic and foreign companies from across the country.

Nguyen Kieu Oanh, Deputy Director of Hanoi's Department of Industry and Trade, said the exhibition aims to boost industrial production growth, investment, trade, and exports. It serves as a platform for networking businesses in high-tech manufacturing and trade, facilitating partnerships with countries that have advanced industrial sectors.

According to Oanh, the Hanoi People's Committee has approved several decisions to support the development of key industrial products, which outlines plans for 2021-2025.

The city has started infrastructure development in 28 out of 43 planned industrial clusters to attract domestic and foreign investment. In addition, the government has made efforts to boost investment and production cooperation, including the Vietnam-Japan Aerospace Techno Park in the Hanoi Southern Industrial Park (HANSSIP).

Meanwhile, the Department of Industry and Trade has also implemented a 2021-2024 plan that involves hundreds of businesses in industrial production. Currently, there are 172 products certified as key industrial products in the city, exceeding the target for 2021-2025. This year, 63 products from 35 companies are expected to be certified, bringing the total to 289 products from 191 firms since 2018.

Le Van Quang, Sales Director of T-TECH Vietnam, highlighted the exhibition's benefits for businesses, viewing it as an opportunity for trade promotion, and investment exploration.

He expressed hope that Hanoi's key industrial enterprises will lead technological innovation and promote international economic integration.

"Through this exhibition, we aim to attract more potential customers and expand into the Southeast Asian market and G7 countries," Quang said.
