The Hanoi Times - The National Hospital for Paediatrics yesterday officially presented its three state-of-the-art digital X-ray machines, made by camera and computer printer specialists Canon.
The flat panel detector based-technology was developed by Viet Ba IT.
The machines reduce patient and doctors’ exposure to radiation by 50 per cent, the hospital said in a press release.
"For conventional X-ray, it takes between 30-60 minutes to get the results. With DR X-ray machines, they can get the result within five minutes. With better image quality, diagnosis is more efficient and faster."
The systems were applied for treatment at the hospital on occasion of Vietnamese Doctor’s Day
