Da Nang among world’s virtually untouched travelling destinations

Vogue Australia has announced its list of 23 virtually untouched travelling destinations that you need to visit before everyone else does.
Da Nang city, Vietnam has been ranked 20th among 23 underrated travel destinations to visit before everyone else does, according to a list released by Vogue Australia, a fashion and lifestyle magazine.

Erik Du, an Instagram user who loves travelling, has some words of advice for travelers that the colorful lanterns of Hoi An ancient town near Da Nang city are a joy to see they take all your worries away. You can leave the tourist hotspots behind and dip you toes in Hoi An and Da Nang.
Zagreb (Croatia) tops the list, followed by Uyuni (Bolivia), Siem Reap (Cambodia), San Pedro (Belize), Rotorua (New Zealand), Reykjavik (Iceland), Puerto Vallarta (Mexico), Paradise Island (Mozambique), etc.
Earlier, Da Nang city was named among top 10 best places in the world for foreingers to live in 2018, according to a list released by Live and Invest Overseas (LIO), a international tourism magazine.
Da Nang city is the only Vietnamese destination present on the list. “Da Nang is the third-largest city in Vietnam behind the capital Hanoi and business hub Ho Chi Minh City. Were it not for the skyscrapers, bridges, malls, endless streams of motorbikes, and the whir of air conditioners, today’s Da Nang could easily be 1960s Da Nang,” the magazine wrote.

In recent years, Da Nang has been the designated tourism jewel of Vietnam, a gorgeous destination with several UNESCO World Heritage sites nearby, including Hoi An to the south, the ancient capital of Hue to the north, and the ruins of Hindu temples at My Son in the neighboring Quang Nam province.
The Golden bridge in the city has gone viral thanks to its stunning beauty.
Da Nang city welcomed more than 3.2 million visitors in the first five months of 2018, a year-on-year rise of 30.4%, according to the Da Nang Department of Tourism.
The number of foreign visitors arriving in the city in the first five months of 2018 was estimated at 1.3 million. The total income from tourism was estimated at more than VND11.1 trillion (US$488 million), up 53.6% against the same period of last year.
